How to make [ *** Basic Sponge Cake ***]This is the basic sponge cake, if we can bake this basic sponge cake, we can use it to make many different kind of cake. As an example: Strawberry Cheese Ice cream cake, Peach Ice cream cake, mango filling cake and many others.
It is very simple to bake.
The ingredients we needed are as below:-
• 100g icing sugar
• 120g plain flour(sifted)
• 3tbsp melted butter
Only this 4 stuff we needed to bake a basic sponge cake!
How is the method for baking a sponge cake?
It is as simple as the ingredients we needed.
Firstly, get ready all the ingredients we need.
And put eggs into the mixing bowl. Use high speed to whisk the eggs, until it become frothy.
After the eggs become frothy, add in sugar slowly. Then whisk mixture until it become very light and fluffy. Continue to whisk by low speed, beat for 3-5 minutes until mixture is very smooth.
Divide the sifted plain flour into 3 portions and sift flour onto the mixture one by one. Add in very slowly.
Stir flour very lightly into mixture, in one direction only. This is very important, have to stir very lightly! And remember, in one direction only.
*(pre-heat the oven at 180⁰C)
The last step is very slowly and lightly mixes in the melted butter. It is also in one direction only, and do not over-mix. Have to stop immediately when the butter completely mixed.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin and put it into the pre-heat oven (180⁰C) for 30-35minutes until the mixture cooked and become golden brown.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
The basic sponge cake is accomplished!
